Summertime Blues?

Posted by in Just Whatever | 0 comments

The gun industry is going through a typical summer slump.  As we look back at our records we realize that almost every year we see a dramatic drop off in web traffic, sales and inquiries during the months of May-August. This isn’t a big deal for us, but it might be a big deal for you because parts, guns and ammo are starting to become available as manufacturers get caught up with existing orders. Todd Jarrett Hat Cam

Here is a video of Todd Jarrett shooting an IPSC stage with a hat cam.  It provides a great vantage of how incredibly fast the top shooters are moving while they run these stages.  After the hat cam the video shows him shooting it with a traditional camera view.  Notice his mag transitions.  Very smooth, and always while moving. The scope is a SWFA 10×42 with Mil-Dots, with side focus.  The scope...

I have had a  lot of revolvers come in the shop over the last few day for trigger work.  I am going to limit this to the Double Action portion of the firing cycle.  If you have a revolver that allows you to shoot Single Action, that portion probably doesn’t need to adjusted, but often the DA portion needs to be addressed. If you are looking at this mod, here are a few parameters; Springs by themselves are not the answer.  Just slapping a...
