Last weekend I had the opportunity to meet up with Gilbert Perez to do a little shooting.  Gilbert is a USPSA competitor who has one the fastest draws around.  We were standing at 12 yards shooting 8″ plates on a rack.  The drill was to draw and fire one shot on a plate as fast as possible.  My best time (actually hitting the plate) was 1.39 seconds.  Gilbert consistently was around .80 which included an accurate shot.  Check out this...
