Summer is winding down, and I for one am glad. I’m sick of a hot shop that sucks the life out of you. I am also ready for the change of season and the busyness that comes with fall. Our shop is already coming out of the summer lull (who shoots when its hot?!!). We are excited about a few of the great projects that kept us rolling this summer. Two of these were outside the norm, but very interesting restorations. More to come on that later.
This week I am setting up a few Ruger LCP’s with lasers for some customers. I’ll update the results soon enough. If you haven’t thought about one of these as an alternative to a big gun or using it as a back up gun for an LEO situation, you owe it to yourself. They make great hideout pieces for the Officer in need.
Also, I’ve been tossing around a custom project on a Ruger Security Six that I picked up from a buddy. Should be interesting to say the least. The pre-SP101!
One a final note, I am offering the Advanced Pistol class sometime in October. We just had a great Handgun class, and we wanted to follow it up. If you are interested, let me know and I will keep you on the list. They are small and a lot of fun.
